A Little About...

Dipper Wettstein, Sue’s partner and son, was born in Columbia (before Howard County General was built!) and has lived in Howard County for his entire life.  His “given name” is Philip … which transformed into "Flip" … "Dip" … and then, Dipper, by the time he was two weeks old.  He has lived in the Longfellow, Swansfield, Phelps Luck, Clemens Crossing and Thunder Hill neighborhoods of Columbia - Howard County born and bred!  Dipper attended Wilde Lake High School and lives in River Hill with his wife, Sheri, who is an elementary school guidance counselor, their three sons - Joshua, Ethan, and Seth, and their Cockerpoo, Zoe.

Dip has enjoyed coaching a Howard County “Heroes” summer league lacrosse team and has been an assistant coach for Wilde Lake and Atholton High School Varsity lacrosse teams.  He participates in the parent support group at the Howard County Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where he provides encouragement and hope to parents of premature infants.  He is also a volunteer member on the Residential Architectural committee for the Village of River Hill.

Dipper was an assistant project manager and accountant for a mechanical contracting firm before joining Sue in the Real Estate business.  He has been a licensed Realtor since 1994 and earned the “At Home with Diversity” designation in 2002.  Dipper won the Home Team Spirit Award in 2005 - an acknowledgement from his peers for his outstanding enthusiasm and the synergy he creates.  Dipper is currently serving on the Legislative Committee for the Howard County Association of Realtors.  He is Sue’s partner, client care coordinator, administrative assistant, computer “guru”, advertising coordinator, graphics designer, and invaluable “Right Hand Man”.
